How I can help you connect what you know and what you feel
Hi, I am Deshane a Clinical Psychologist and Trauma Specialist here in Belize. I help driven clients who are tired of being frustrated, and who want to enjoy what they have worked so hard for so that their anxiety doesn't control them because of their past. My clients learn how to handle their emotions by becoming friends with their emotions whilst learning to love themselves. They do this by going back to past painful memories and releasing those pain. There won't be any worksheets but there will be humor, music, brain demonstration, and understanding of your why. You'll probably find me in the office barefoot as I like to be comfortable in the room.
For over 8 years I have worked with clients who have anxiety, trauma, sexual trauma, and self-esteem issues. My clients typically come to see me weekly so that they have consistent support and move out of crisis mode so that they are in control of their emotions before going back to the root of their pain so that they don’t need to be triggered by it. My clients often like to say it’s like you used to have to compartmentalize everything to get things done but now you don’t need to because there won’t be anything to hide from. You remember what happened but know that at this moment you are safe.
